Pawan Kalyan: Telangana gave rebirth to me

On the occasion of Telangana’s 11th Formation Day, Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister and Jana Sena Party (JSP) president Pawan Kalyan extended heartfelt greetings to the people of Telangana, describing the state as the land that gave him a “rebirth.”

Pawan Kalyan expressed deep gratitude to Telangana, attributing his political and personal resurgence to the state’s spirit and its historic movement for statehood.

In his message, Kalyan wrote in Telugu, “The land that gave birth to Jana Sena Party, the land that gave me rebirth, the land that instilled the spirit of struggle in me, my Telangana, the land praised by Dasarathi Krishnamacharya as ‘Koti Ratnala Veena.’ A symbol of the aspirations and decades-long struggles of 3.5 crore people, and the sacrifices of students and youth.”

Pawan Kalyan, a prominent actor-turned-politician, has often highlighted Telangana’s significance in shaping his political journey.

Speaking at an earlier event in Warangal in 2023, he stated, “Telangana is my heart. I am facing bullies and factionalism in Andhra with the courage of Telangana.” His remarks underscore the inspiration he draws from the state’s resilience and its successful fight for separate statehood in 2014.
