“Amaravati will empower the vision of a prosperous Andhra Pradesh and strengthen the pathway to a developed India,” he said.

The relaunch includes 74 infrastructure projects worth Rs 49,000 crore, such as the Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly, High Court, Secretariat, and residential quarters for judicial officers and 5,200 families. Additionally, Modi initiated nine central projects worth Rs 5,028 crore, including a Rs 1,459 crore DRDO missile testing center at Nagayalanka, national highway expansions, and railway upgrades. Deputy CM Pawan Kalyan praised the farmers who contributed 33,000 acres of land, criticizing the previous regime for undermining their sacrifices. “Amaravati will become a world-class capital, ensuring our youth no longer need to leave for jobs in Hyderabad or Bangalore,” he said.

The relaunch, termed “Amaravati ReSTART,” featured a 250-acre venue with a tech exhibition, 3D models of the government complex, and elaborate arrangements for attendees, including food, water, and transport for five lakh expected participants.
