Sreeleela to return to Ustaad Bhagat Singh’s sets next month

Actress Sreeleela is gearing up to return to the sets of “Ustaad Bhagat Singh,” the highly anticipated action entertainer starring Pawan Kalyan.

Directed by Harish Shankar and produced by Mythri Movie Makers, the film pairs Pawan Kalyan with Sreeleela in what promises to be a dynamic on-screen collaboration.

Halt for two years!

The film’s shoot began in 2023 but was temporarily put on hold as Pawan Kalyan shifted focus to his political duties in the run-up to the Andhra Pradesh elections. With his recent victory and appointment as Deputy Chief Minister, the actor-politician is now in the process of wrapping up his other major project — OG, a gangster action thriller being shot in Mumbai.

Sources indicate that his portions for “OG” will be completed within a month, after which he plans a brief political break before resuming work on “Ustaad Bhagat Singh.”

Production for Ustaad Bhagat Singh is expected to resume in the third week of June, and Sreeleela has reportedly been asked to prioritize her schedule accordingly. The makers are keen to avoid further delays, and Sreeleela has committed to making the film her top priority during Pawan Kalyan’s availability.

Packed calendar

Sreeleela, who is currently balancing a busy slate, has nearly wrapped her debut Hindi film and is involved in two major Telugu productions — Mass Jathara with Ravi Teja, which is in its final stages, and Lenin with Akhil Akkineni, which recently commenced filming. Despite her packed calendar, the actress is expected to adjust her call sheets to accommodate Ustaad Bhagat Singh. With Sreeleela rejoining the sets and Pawan Kalyan preparing to resume his cinematic commitments post-election duties, Ustaad Bhagat Singh is back on track and poised to be one of the most talked-about films of the year.
