Puri Jagannadh is gearing up to launch his most ambitious pan-India project yet, headlined by the ever-versatile Vijay Sethupathi. Known for delivering high-energy, mass entertainers, Puri is expected to bring a powerful cinematic fusion by pairing his signature style with Sethupathi’s magnetic screen presence.
The film is being produced by Puri Jagannadh and Charmme Kaur under their Puri Connects banner, with pre-production now fully wrapped.
The makers have been unveiling the ensemble cast one by one, building anticipation. Tabu and Kannada actor Duniya Vijay Kumar are already confirmed for pivotal roles. Now, the talented Samyuktha—widely regarded as Tollywood’s lucky charm—has come on board as the film’s female lead.
This is far from a routine heroine role. Samyuktha’s character plays a crucial part in the narrative and offers strong emotional depth and ample room for performance. She is said to be thrilled with both the script and her character, and is eager to begin filming.
The team has completed a detailed recce across Hyderabad and Chennai to lock in key locations. The regular shoot is scheduled to commence in the last week of June.
A true pan-India venture, the film will be released in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, Kannada, and Malayalam, with the aim of captivating audiences across the country.
Samyuktha is currently juggling multiple high-profile projects across industries and genres—from action-packed pan-India thrillers (Akhanda 2, Benz) and intense dramas (Maharagni, Rakshasi), to period ventures like Swayambhu.
