Jayam Ravi and Kenishaa fuel marriage rumors

Tamil actor Ravi Mohan, popularly known as Jayam Ravi, and singer-spiritual healer Kenishaa Francis have set off a fresh wave of speculation after being photographed together at Kundrakudi Murugan Temple in Tamil Nadu. They both adorned with garlands, a traditional symbol often associated with weddings in Indian culture.

The images, now widely circulated across social media, have sparked rumors of a possible secret marriage.

Marriage or regular pooja?

The sighting comes amid ongoing buzz about their relationship, especially following Ravi’s public announcement of his separation from his wife of 15 years, Aarti Ravi, in September 2024.

In the now-viral photos, Ravi is seen in a green outfit while Kenishaa wears a white floral saree, both posing alongside temple priests after a darshan. The garlands immediately caught public attention, leading many to speculate that the two may have tied the knot. However, neither Ravi nor Kenishaa has issued any official confirmation regarding a marriage.

Adding to the curiosity, the temple visit coincided with the launch of Ravi Mohan Studios on June 5, 2025.

Some observers believe the garland ceremony could have been a part of religious rituals associated with the studio’s inauguration, rather than a wedding. Others, pointing to the symbolic meaning of garlands in such settings, insist the photos suggest otherwise. Without any clarification from the duo, speculation continues to grow.

Divorce case

Rumors about Ravi and Kenishaa’s relationship are not new. Ever since Ravi announced his divorce, reports of a romance between the two have circulated — intensified by their frequent joint appearances, including at producer Ishari Ganesh’s daughter’s wedding in May 2025. Kenishaa, who met Ravi during the launch of her single Idhai Yaar Solvaaro in early 2024, has repeatedly denied claims of an affair, describing their relationship as professional and centered on her role as his therapist.

Ravi, for his part, defended Kenishaa, calling her a “healer” and revealing plans to open a joint healing center with her.

Aarti, however, has strongly disputed these claims, stating that Kenishaa was a “third person” in their marriage. The divorce case between Ravi and Aarti is yet to be finalised. Without divorce granted, Ravi cannot marry Kenishaa. With no clear statement yet from either Ravi or Kenishaa regarding the temple visit, public speculation and debate only seem to be intensifying.
