Jubilee Hills MLA Maganti Gopinath is still in critical condition

Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) MLA from Jubilee Hills, Maganti Gopinath, aged 62, was admitted to AIG Hospital in Gachibowli on Thursday evening after suffering a massive cardiac arrest.

The three-time MLA and Greater Hyderabad BRS wing president is currently in critical condition and has been placed on a ventilator in the ICU, with a team of senior doctors monitoring him closely for the next 48 hours.

According to reports, Gopinath experienced chest pain and collapsed at his home around 4:30 PM, prompting his family to rush him to the hospital.

Sources indicate he has been battling kidney-related issues for several months, having undergone treatment at AIG Hospital for a month prior to this incident. The recent suicide of a close associate and BRS leader, Sardar, is said to have caused significant emotional distress, potentially contributing to his deteriorating health.

Harish Rao is closely monitoring

BRS working president KT Rama Rao, who was on a tour in the United States, cut short his trip and is returning to Hyderabad to check on Gopinath’s condition. Rama Rao has spoken with the MLA’s family and hospital authorities for updates. Former minister T. Harish Rao and other BRS leaders visited the hospital to inquire about Gopinath’s health, expressing hope for his recovery.

BRS MLC Sravan Dasoju stated that Gopinath is showing signs of stabilization but urged party supporters and the public to pray for his recovery, emphasizing that the next 48 hours are critical.

The hospital is expected to release an official health bulletin soon. Gopinath’s critical condition has sparked concern among his constituents and party cadre, with many awaiting further updates on his health.
