Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister and Tollywood icon Pawan Kalyan has officially recommitted to completing his long-delayed film projects, putting an end to speculation about further postponements.

The actor-politician has allocated specific dates to resume work on two major films: Hari Hara Veera Mallu: Part 1 – Sword vs Spirit and They Call Him OG.

The historical action epic, originally slated for release on May 9, 2025, was delayed due to Pawan’s political commitments. However, he is now set to rejoin the production in the first week of May, with plans to complete the film in time for a late-May release.

Set in the 17th-century Mughal Empire, the film features Pawan Kalyan as the legendary outlaw Veera Mallu, with Bobby Deol portraying Emperor Aurangzeb and Nidhhi Agerwal as the female lead.
