Sreeleela pairs up with Gali Janardhan Reddy’s son in Junior

Kireeti Reddy, son of prominent politician and businessman Gali Janardhan Reddy—one of Karnataka’s wealthiest individuals—is making his acting debut with the vibrant youthful entertainer Junior. Backed by his father’s influence and resources, Kireeti has been launched in style, with a top-tier team assembled for his maiden film.

Sreeleela gets high remuneration

Among the major highlights is actress Sreeleela, currently riding high with big-ticket projects in both Tollywood and Bollywood. Despite her packed schedule, she agreed to star opposite Kireeti and is said to have received a record remuneration for her role.

Directed by Radha Krishna and produced by Rajani Korrapati under the Vaaraahi Chalana Chitram banner, Junior unveiled its teaser today.

Breezy teaser

The teaser presents a breezy, energetic, and fun-filled snapshot of campus life, setting the tone for a youthful entertainer.

Kireeti plays a laid-back college student who values joy over grades—a free spirit who both frustrates and charms those around him. His interactions with Sreeleela’s character, a focused and ambitious young woman, spark a playful clash of ideologies that gradually gives way to chemistry.

What truly stands out in the teaser is Kireeti himself. He displays a surprisingly well-rounded screen presence for a newcomer—effortless dance moves, agile stunts, confident charm, and strong comic timing. Sreeleela complements him well, bringing poise and charisma as the female lead.

Genelia D’Souza makes a striking return in a bossy role that adds dramatic flair to the teaser’s final moments, while Viva Harsha brings the laughs with his trademark comedic style.

Top technicians

Visually, the film is a treat, thanks to cinematographer KK Senthil Kumar, known for his work on Baahubali and RRR. The pulsating background score by Rockstar Devi Sri Prasad adds youthful energy, further enhancing the film’s appeal.

“Junior” also shines on the technical front—with Raveendar’s production design, Peter Hein’s high-octane action choreography, and sharp editing by Niranjan Devaramane. The witty dialogues by Kalyan Chakravarthy Tripuraneni add a layer of humor to the lively script.

With a pan-India release planned in Telugu, Kannada, Tamil, Hindi, and Malayalam, and a grand theatrical release set for July 18, “Junior” promises to be a full-on entertainer that marks an ambitious debut for Kireeti Reddy.
