During a recent press meet for her upcoming film Robinhood, Sreeleela shared her thoughts on breaking stereotypes. When the anchor playfully remarked, “Leela means song, song means dance, and dance means Leela,” she confidently responded, “That is why, in this movie, I worked on making it ‘Leela means dialogue, dialogue means performance, and performance means Leela.’”

Her co-star Nithiin, who was also present at the event, joined in, saying, “Leela means no steps, only dance.” The light-hearted exchange highlighted the actress’s intent to showcase her range beyond just being a phenomenal dancer.

Sreeleela is set to play a pivotal role in Robinhood, directed by Venky Kudumula. The film, which initially had Rashmika Mandanna in the lead, saw a last-minute change due to scheduling conflicts. However, Sreeleela stepped in without hesitation, a move that director Venky Kudumula greatly appreciated.

At the event, Kudumula praised the actress for her dedication, saying, “Sreeleela brought a new energy to the character, and audiences will see a different side of her in this film.”

Nithiin also expressed confidence in the film’s success, emphasizing that Sreeleela’s performance would surprise fans.
