Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s aim: Rs 2000 Cr for Spirit

Currently, Sandeep Reddy Vanga is auditioning newcomers for many roles for his film “Spirit” starring Prabhas.

On the other hand, in a recent interview, director Sandeep Reddy Vanga has unveiled exciting details about “Spirit.” Vanga disclosed that “Spirit” is a police story, indicating that Prabhas will portray a cop. But the thriller is not a regular police story. It falls in the genre of crime drama, and it will be more intense than his previous film, “Animal.”

Recently, Allu Arjun’s “Pushpa 2” grossed Rs 1800 crore worldwide. So, will Prabhas’s movie aim for Rs 2000 cr? “

“Rs 2000 cr is a giant target. I aim to make a compelling crime drama. We’ll see if it manages to earn more than Baahubali 2. I don’t make films keeping particular records in mind,” Sandeep Vanga said.

December 2026 release

The film is slated for a 2026 release, aligning with Vanga’s strategic planning for his forthcoming projects. Following “Spirit,” he aims to commence work on “Animal Park,” an action film featuring Ranbir Kapoor, with a projected release in 2028.
