The highly anticipated first glimpse of Nitesh Tiwari’s Ramayana was unveiled today, sending fans into a frenzy with its breathtaking visuals and star-studded cast. The 3-minute teaser, titled Ramayana: The Introduction, offers a stunning peek into the mythological epic, featuring Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Ram, Sai Pallavi as Sita, and Yash as the formidable Ravana. Directed by National Award-winning filmmaker Nitesh Tiwari and produced by Namit Malhotra’s Prime Focus Studios and Yash’s Monster Mind Creations, the film promises to redefine Indian cinema on a global scale.

Grand teaser

The teaser, launched simultaneously across nine Indian cities and at New York’s Times Square, showcases cutting-edge CGI by Prime Focus and Oscar-winning DNEG, paired with a powerful soundtrack by Hans Zimmer and AR Rahman. Fans have hailed the visuals as “groundbreaking,” with Ranbir’s poised portrayal of Lord Ram and Yash’s intense, fleeting glimpse as Ravana sparking widespread excitement. The teaser concludes with a nod to the epic “war to end all wars,” setting the stage for a grand cinematic universe.

Social media reactions echoed this sentiment, with fans praising the teaser’s “Game of Thrones-like” grandeur and Yash’s menacing Ravana stealing the spotlight for some. However, some expressed disappointment over the absence of Sai Pallavi’s Sita in the glimpse.
