It’s now official—Raashii Khanna has been roped in as one of the female leads in Pawan Kalyan’s highly anticipated action entertainer “Ustaad Bhagat Singh.”
Directed by Harish Shankar and backed by Mythri Movie Makers, the film is creating a strong buzz among fans and industry circles alike.
For weeks, there had been speculation across media and social platforms about Raashii’s inclusion in the film. Putting all rumours to rest, the makers today unveiled her look from the film and introduced her character as Shloka.
The newly released still features Raashii in an olive-green outfit, holding a Sony camera with a strap around her neck—hinting that she plays a passionate photographer. Her poised and inquisitive look suggests a character that may play a pivotal role alongside Pawan Kalyan’s intense cop avatar.
This marks Raashii’s first-time pairing with Pawan Kalyan, adding fresh appeal to the film’s casting. She joins Sreeleela, who also plays a key female lead and has already completed filming some of her portions. Raashii, meanwhile, has just joined the ongoing shoot schedule.
