NTR receives hero’s welcome in Japan for Devara: Part 1

NTR has touched down in Japan to launch an extensive promotional campaign for his highly anticipated film “Devara: Part 1.” Set for a grand theatrical release in the country on March 28, 2025, the film has already generated immense buzz, especially following NTR’s rising popularity in Japan after the record-breaking success of RRR.

NTR arrived in Tokyo this morning, greeted by throngs of enthusiastic fans eager to catch a glimpse of their favorite star. The actor’s visit marks the beginning of a packed promotional schedule, including media interactions, fan events, and a special trailer unveiling later this week.

Having already engaged with Japanese audiences through virtual interviews in recent weeks, NTR wasted no time and dived straight into a series of press conferences, sharing insights about the film and his excitement about reconnecting with his Japanese fanbase.

Directed by Koratala Siva, Devara: Part 1 made its Indian debut on September 27, 2024, and has since grossed over Rs 450 crore worldwide, cementing NTR’s status as a pan-Indian star. The action-packed coastal drama also starred Saif Ali Khan and Janhvi Kapoor in pivotal roles.

The film’s upcoming Japanese release has sparked heightened anticipation, especially after special preview screenings earlier this month reportedly sold out across multiple shows.
