Kiara Advani is expecting her first child. This is a fact already well known to fans. She and her husband, Bollywood star Sidharth Malhotra, announced the pregnancy earlier this year.

On Monday night, Kiara made a show-stopping debut at the 2025 Met Gala, proudly flaunting her baby bump on the iconic red carpet. Radiant and confident, she posed for photographers and blew kisses, marking her first public appearance since the announcement.

The couple, who tied the knot in 2023, are now preparing to welcome their first child. Speaking about the moment, Kiara said, “Making my Met Gala debut at this point in my life, as both an artist and a mother-to-be, feels incredibly special.”

The Met Gala, held annually in New York, is one of the fashion world’s most anticipated events. This year’s theme, “Tailored for You,” was interpreted in stunning form by Kiara’s ensemble. Styled by Anaita Shroff Adajania, she wore a custom gown by celebrated Indian designer Gaurav Gupta.

The outfit featured a sculpted metallic breastplate that seamlessly transitioned into a heart-shaped ornament placed over her belly. A symbolic golden thread—representing the umbilical cord—linked the heart to the bodice, creating a deeply personal and artistic tribute to motherhood.

Kiara also took to Instagram to share photos from her Met Gala shoot, captioning them: “Mama’s first Monday in May.”

Upcoming Projects

Due to her pregnancy, Kiara has stepped back from several film projects and will be on a break from acting until next year. However, she has already completed work on two highly anticipated films: “War 2,” where she stars opposite Hrithik Roshan, and “Toxic,” featuring Yash. Notably, she exited “Don 3” to focus on her pregnancy.
