During the panel discussion titled The Journey: From Outsider to Ruler, Deepika shared that her personal time revolves around managing her household, a routine she finds grounding.

There’s a study where all the mail comes. I sort out all of it. Cleaning the kitchen, checking vegetable stock for the week, laundry—I don’t know any other way. Maybe because I started out this way,” she said.

Her relatable take on chores like organizing packages, tidying the kitchen, and ensuring supplies for her daughter, Dua Padukone Singh, resonated with fans.

Deepika’s comments came as part of a broader discussion about her life after embracing motherhood. She and husband Ranveer Singh welcomed their daughter, Dua, on September 8, 2024. “I’m figuring out how to adjust to being a mother and manage my career,” she told Johar and Khan, adding that her priorities have shifted toward her family.

Deepika, who has been on a break from acting since announcing her pregnancy in February 2024, also reflected on her career journey during the summit.
