SSMB29: Security is beefed up to avoid leaks

The makers of SSMB29, the highly anticipated yet-to-be-titled film directed by S.S. Rajamouli and starring Mahesh Babu, have decided to ramp up security measures on set following recent leaks.

Two unauthorized video clips from the filming location surfaced online, prompting the production team to take swift action. To prevent further breaches, additional security personnel have been deployed to ensure that neither the general public nor eager fans can approach the shooting area. Moreover, strict restrictions have been put in place to stop anyone from recording videos on mobile phones.

Shooting in Koraput

The shooting of SSMB29 is currently underway in Koraput, Odisha, featuring Mahesh Babu alongside Malayalam superstar Prithviraj Sukumaran. Recently, a leaked clip went viral, showing Mahesh Babu walking with a powerful, lion-like gait, while Prithviraj was seen seated in a wheelchair. However, all platforms quickly removed the footage.

Touted as a globe-trotting adventure thriller, SSMB29 is being crafted on a grand scale with a massive budget. Unlike his usual preference for controlled indoor sets, Rajamouli has opted for extensive outdoor shoots this time, given the film’s ambitious and expansive storyline that demands diverse real-world locations.

With excitement surrounding the film at an all-time high, the makers are leaving no stone unturned to maintain secrecy and deliver a cinematic spectacle of epic proportions.

SSMB29 features Mahesh Babu in the lead role. Joining him is acclaimed Malayalam actor Prithviraj Sukumaran in a pivotal role. Global star Priyanka Chopra is the main heroine. While the full cast is yet to be officially announced, the film is expected to feature a strong ensemble, possibly including renowned actors from multiple industries, given its global adventure theme.
