Mahesh Babu’s daughter Sitara turns teenager

Mahesh Babu and his wife, former actress Namrata Shirodkar, took to social media to share emotional messages as their daughter, Sitara Ghattamaneni, stepped into her teenage years on her 13th birthday today.

The heartwarming posts, accompanied by adorable family photos, have gone viral, with fans showering love on the young starlet who is already carving her own path in the limelight.

Mahesh Babu, known for his roles in blockbuster films like Guntur Kaaram and Sarkaru Vaari Paata, shared a candid photo from their recent Christmas celebrations, capturing a joyful moment with Sitara making a goofy pose while he smiled affectionately.

In his Instagram post, Mahesh wrote, “And just like that… she’s a teenager!  Happy birthday, Sitara  Always lighting up my life. Love you so much .”

The post quickly garnered thousands of likes and comments, with fans praising the close bond between the doting father and his daughter.

Namrata Shirodkar, who co-manages AMB Cinemas with Mahesh, posted a carousel of photos featuring Sitara, reflecting on her growth into a confident young girl. She wrote, “No matter how big you get, you’ll always be the little hand that first held mine and changed my world forever… Happy Birthday @sitaraghattamaneni I love you.” Namrata’s caption highlighted Sitara’s transformation, adding, “Now suddenly you’re this confident, strong, young girl, and I’m just in awe.”

Sitara’s elder brother, Gautam Ghattamaneni, currently studying in New York, also joined the celebrations with a collage of pictures on Instagram.

Stiara a star in her own right

Sitara, born on July 20, 2012, is no stranger to the spotlight. With over 2.1 million Instagram followers and a YouTube channel boasting 320k subscribers, she has already made her mark as a social media influencer, model, and budding artist. She voiced young Elsa in the Telugu dub of Frozen 2 (2019), appeared in the song “Penny” from Sarkaru Vaari Paata (2022), and recently donated her first acting remuneration of Rs 1 crore to charity.

Her training in Kuchipudi, ballet, and acting, along with her modeling for a leading jewellery brand, has fueled speculation about her potential film debut, with Namrata hinting at “a lot of excitement at home” regarding Sitara’s upcoming projects.
