Hyderabad, May 28, 2025 – The Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) is witnessing mounting speculation over MLC K. Kavitha’s next political move, following the leak of a letter she reportedly wrote to her father and party chief, K. Chandrasekhar Rao (KCR).
The letter has stirred political circles, with divergent views emerging—some suggesting Kavitha may break away to launch a new political outfit, while others interpret the move as a push for greater influence within the party.
Sources indicate that Kavitha is considering unveiling a new political party focused on “Bahujana Social Justice,” possibly on June 2, Telangana Formation Day. Her supporters believe she may use her Telangana Jagruthi platform to mobilize public sentiment, reflecting her growing frustration with being sidelined in BRS.
Adding fuel to the fire, BJP MP M. Raghunandan Rao claimed Kavitha’s announcement is imminent and could include a state-wide padayatra. However, BRS insiders counter that her letter calls for internal reform rather than rebellion, emphasizing that any power struggle remains within the party’s framework rather than outside of it.
