Telangana Formation Day 2025: Top leaders extend heartfelt wishes

Telangana celebrated its 11th Formation Day on June 2, marking the state’s creation in 2014 following a historic movement for separate statehood from Andhra Pradesh. Prominent leaders, including Prime Minister Narendra Modi, President Droupadi Murmu, Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy, and former Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao (KCR), extended warm greetings to the people of Telangana, praising the state’s cultural richness and contributions to India’s progress.

PM Modi’s Wishes

Prime Minister Narendra Modi shared his greetings on X, stating: “Greetings to the wonderful people of Telangana on their Statehood Day. The state is known for making innumerable contributions to national progress. Over the last decade, the NDA Government has undertaken many measures to boost ‘Ease of Living’ for the people of the state.”

He also highlighted Telangana’s vibrant economic and technological landscape, emphasizing its importance in India’s growth story.

President Murmu’s Message

President Droupadi Murmu also extended her wishes, commending Telangana’s cultural legacy and its dynamic role in India’s development. In a message shared on X, she expressed her hopes for the state’s continued prosperity and progress.

CM Revanth Reddy pays tribute to martyrs

Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy attended official celebrations in Hyderabad, where he paid homage to the martyrs of the statehood movement. Reaffirming his government’s vision under the slogan “Telangana Rising,” he said: “Telangana has completed 11 years and is stepping into its 12th year. Our future plans will make Telangana a model for the entire country across all sectors.”

KCR reflect on the state’s journey

Former Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao extended greetings to all people and reflected on the state’s journey.
