Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) Working President and former minister K.T. Rama Rao (KTR) issued a scathing warning to Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy on May 6, 2025, threatening severe consequences if the latter continues to use abusive language against BRS chief and former Chief Minister K. Chandrashekhar Rao (KCR).
In a fiery statement, KTR warned that he would “rip out” Revanth Reddy’s tongue if the Chief Minister persists in making personal attacks on KCR, escalating the ongoing war of words between the two political heavyweights.
The provocative remarks came in response to Revanth Reddy’s alleged use of derogatory language against KCR, including reported comments wishing for his death and targeting his family.
KTR, addressing the issue on social media and in public statements, declared, “I’m warning you for the last time, Revanth. We’ve tolerated your abuses against KCR garu so far, but if you personally insult our leader one more time, the day will come when we rip your tongue out. Remember this.”
In a recent meeting with the employees’ union, Chief Minister Revanth Reddy made critical remarks about former Chief Minister KCR, accusing him of mismanaging state finances. He alleged that KCR had squandered public funds on non-essential projects, leaving the state burdened with loans amounting to ₹8 lakh crore. Revanth Reddy, seemingly driven by a personal grudge against KCR, also made some unsavoury comments.
It was in this context that KTR issued the above warning.
