Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) working president K.T. Rama Rao (KTR) unleashed a sharp critique of Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy on X, mocking him for making “50 trips with zero results” to Delhi.

In a satirical post, KTR accused Reddy of neglecting Telangana’s pressing issues and running the state administration through “flight bookings” rather than concrete governance, alleging that the Chief Minister’s frequent visits to the national capital are aimed at pleasing his Congress high command rather than securing tangible benefits for the state.

He further claimed that Reddy’s three main achievements since Congress assumed power have been self-promotion, neglecting state issues, and dependency on Delhi’s directives.

KTR’s remarks come amid ongoing tensions between the BRS and the Congress government, with the opposition repeatedly criticizing Reddy for his frequent Delhi visits—reportedly 50 in the last 18 months—while alleging that these trips have yielded no significant outcomes for Telangana.

In previous statements, KTR has accused Reddy of prioritizing meetings with Congress leaders like Rahul Gandhi over addressing critical state issues. He reiterated these concerns, stating, “People are feeling betrayed, but instead of addressing their concerns, you are busy in Delhi.”

The BRS leader’s satire also touched on Reddy’s alleged inability to make independent decisions, accusing him of running the state with a “remote control” from Delhi. KTR has previously demanded a white paper on the expenditure of Reddy’s Delhi trips, estimating significant costs for the Chief Minister and his entourage’s visits, including the use of helicopters for district tours by cabinet colleagues.
