The verbal battle erupted after Akhila Priya criticized YSRCP leaders, questioning their silence on water release from the KC Canal. He claimed: Even for buying a kilo of chicken, an additional ₹10 is being collected as a commission in Akhila Priya’s name. During Ramzan, Muslim shop owners are allegedly being harassed, with authorities seizing chicken shops, making it difficult for them to sustain their businesses.
