In a recent candid interview, actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu opened up about one of the lowest points in her life—an emotionally challenging phase marked by personal and health struggles. Without directly mentioning her divorce, Samantha reflected on a time when nothing seemed to go right, revealing the internal battles she faced.
“I remember once I finally got to the point where I said, ‘Enough, I can’t do this any longer.’ I had the worst thoughts,” Samantha admitted. “I definitely lacked the confidence to go ahead and do it. It was hard for a year. Nothing was working, and no solutions were being offered.”
Over time, the actress began to rethink her approach and focus on building resilience. “Then I realised I’d better find a way to create some type of resilience and start thinking about other things I can accomplish with my life,” she said.
Offering advice to others going through tough times, Samantha shared, “Now, when individuals say they are going through a difficult period, I advise them to get through it. There’s always a lesson to be learned and a light at the end of the tunnel. My failures and hardships taught me more than my success ever did.”
Samantha also spoke about her decision to perform in the viral song Oo Antava, which broke stereotypes and surprised many fans. “As much as people think I do things to make statements, I do it to challenge myself,” she explained. “Throughout my life, I never considered myself a good-looking, hot woman. Oo Antava was an opportunity to see if I could fake it and pull it off.”
She added, “It was honestly a challenge to myself, and I only wanted to do it once. I accepted it purely as a personal test.”
