Ram Charan has wrapped up the latest shooting schedule for his much-anticipated sports drama “Peddi”. The film, currently in production in Hyderabad, has had the actor’s undivided attention in recent weeks.
Now, with the schedule completed, Charan is stepping away from work for a 20-day break — not because of the scorching summer heat, but to fulfill personal and professional commitments abroad.
Next week, the actor will travel to London for the grand unveiling of his wax statue at Madame Tussauds. Following that, he will attend a special event at The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, where the powerful RRR background score will be performed live.
After these engagements, Charan plans to take a short vacation with his wife, Upasana, and their daughter, Klin Kaara, before returning to the sets in the third week of May. He remains excited and optimistic about the film’s progress and the journey ahead.
“Peddi” is a sports drama starring Ram Charan in the lead role with Janhvi Kapoor playing his love interest. Directed by Uppena fame Buchi Babu Sana, the movie is being mounted on a grand scale with top-tier technical support. AR Rahman is scoring the music. With a strong emphasis on storytelling and performance-driven roles, “Peddi” is shaping up to be one of the most awaited films in Ram Charan’s career. The film is set for release on March 27, 2026.
