Keerthy Suresh tied the knot with her longtime boyfriend Antony Thattil in December 2024. Seven months after the wedding, there’s still no official word on her next major theatrical project. In the meantime, she appears to be strategically shifting focus toward direct-to-OTT releases as part of a post-marriage career reset.

Her latest Telugu comedy-drama, Uppu Kappurambu, is set to premiere directly on Amazon Prime Video on July 4, 2025, marking another key addition to her growing list of digital-first films. This move follows the underwhelming box office performance of her recent theatrical outings like Bhola Shankar and her Hindi debut Baby John.

Projects such as Revolver Rita, Kannivedi, and the upcoming web series Akka span across Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi industries, showing her continued presence on multiple platforms. However, these efforts have yet to recreate the commercial success she once enjoyed in cinemas.

Despite strong support from her husband and a visible work ethic, questions continue to circulate in the industry and media about her box-office viability post-marriage. While Keerthy maintains that her career remains “unhindered,” the next few months—with multiple digital releases lined up—will be crucial in determining whether she can truly bounce back and reclaim her space as a leading lady in Indian cinema.
