Hansika Motwani finds herself at the center of swirling divorce rumors just two years after her grand wedding to businessman Sohael Khaturiya in December 2022. The couple, whose elaborate Jaipur ceremony was documented in the reality series Hansika’s Love Shaadi Drama on Disney+ Hotstar (now Jiostar), is reportedly facing marital challenges, sparking widespread speculation among fans and media.

According to multiple sources, Hansika, 33, and Sohael, 35, are no longer living together, with the actress said to have moved in with her mother, Mona Motwani, while Sohael resides with his parents.

Insiders claim the couple initially lived with Sohael’s extended family post-marriage but struggled to adjust to the dynamics. In an attempt to resolve their issues, they moved to a separate apartment in the same building as Sohael’s parents, but tensions reportedly persisted. Hansika’s absence of recent social media posts featuring Sohael and her solo appearances at public events have further fueled the rumors.

Sohael Khaturiya addressed the speculation in a brief statement to Hindustan Times, saying, “It’s not true.” However, his ambiguous response—failing to clarify whether he was denying the separation or divorce rumors—has left fans and observers uncertain about the couple’s relationship status.

Hansika, known for her roles in Telugu and Tamil films like Desamuduru and Mappillai, has remained silent on the matter, focusing instead on her career, with several upcoming projects in Tamil and Telugu cinema, as well as web series.

The couple’s relationship has previously faced scrutiny due to Sohael’s prior marriage to Rinky Bajaj, a former close friend of Hansika. Their 2014 marriage ended in divorce, and Hansika was trolled online after her engagement to Sohael, with accusations of her involvement in the dissolution of his first marriage.

In Love Shaadi Drama, Hansika defended herself, stating, “Just because I knew the person at that time doesn’t mean it was my fault. I have nothing to do with this. Because I am a public figure, it was very easy for people to point at me and make me the villain.” Sohael also clarified that his first marriage ended for unrelated reasons and was short-lived.
