‘The Raja Saab’ locks December 2025 release

The highly anticipated pan-India film “The Raja Saab,” starring Prabhas, Nidhhi Agerwal, and Malavika Mohanan, has officially locked its release date. Directed by Maruthi and produced by People Media Factory, the film is slated to hit theaters on December 5, 2025.

Touted as a grand cinematic spectacle, “The Raja Saab” blends action, romance, and drama, with much of its plot still under wraps.

The film marks Prabhas’s return to the romantic-action genre, generating considerable buzz among fans, who are eagerly awaiting the first-look teaser expected in the coming months.

Multi-lingual pan-Indian release

Crafted as a multilingual release in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam, the film aims to capture a nationwide audience. The project features a top-tier technical crew, including music composer Thaman S, cinematographer Karthik Palani, and editor Kotagiri Venkateswara Rao. Sources close to the production hint at high-octane action sequences, rich visuals, and a gripping narrative that plays to Prabhas’s strengths.

Prabhas is said to be deeply invested in the film, with director Maruthi shaping the role to showcase Prabhas in an entertaining role. Malavika Mohanan, known for her versatile performances, will bring a fresh dynamic to the screen as the female lead. It is her first Telugu film. She will also compete with other actresses in the film – Nidhhi Agerwal and Riddhi Kumar.

Fauji in 2026

With the release date for “The Raja Saab” confirmed, it is now clear that Prabhas’s other film “Fauji” will release in 2026. “Fauji” is being directed by Hanu Raghavapudi. Other films like “Spirit” and “Kalki 2898 AD” and “Salaar 2” will have to wait for 2027 and 2028.
