Aarti Ravi accuses Ravi Mohan of neglecting parental duties

In a heartfelt and emotional Instagram post, Aarti Ravi, the estranged wife of Tamil actor Ravi Mohan, has accused him of emotional and financial neglect during their ongoing divorce proceedings.

The couple, married for 18 years and parents to two sons, Aarav (14) and Ayaan (10), have been in the public eye since Ravi announced their separation in September 2024.

Aarti’s statement comes hours after Ravi was spotted attending a high-profile wedding in Chennai with his rumored girlfriend, singer and spiritual healer Kenishaa Francis, sparking renewed speculation about their relationship.

In her detailed post, Aarti revealed the challenges she has faced as a single mother, claiming she has been solely responsible for their children’s emotional and financial well-being.

“For a year, I have carried silence like armour. Not because I was weak, but because my sons needed peace more than I needed to be heard,” she wrote.

Aarti alleged that Ravi has provided no emotional or financial support, leaving her to manage every aspect of their sons’ lives alone. She further claimed that she and her children are now facing eviction from their home, reportedly on instructions from Ravi, who co-built the house with her. “I am accused of being a gold digger. If that were ever true, I would’ve protected my personal interests long ago. But I chose love over calculation,” Aarti added.

Aarti emphasized her role as a mother, stating, “My children are 10 and 14. They deserve security, not shock. Stability, not silence. They are too young to understand legal clauses, but old enough to feel abandonment.”

She accused Ravi of failing to fulfill his responsibilities as a father, citing unanswered calls and canceled meetings that have left emotional scars on their sons. Aarti also requested the media to refrain from calling her Ravi’s ex-wife until the divorce is finalized, asserting, “I remain Aarti Ravi until both I and the law decide otherwise”.

Meanwhile, Ravi Mohan, previously known as Jayam Ravi, attended the wedding of producer Ishari Ganesh’s daughter on May 8, 2025, accompanied by Kenishaa Francis. Kenishaa, who has previously denied romantic involvement with Ravi, is now facing trolling for her lies.
