Sharwanand and Sampath Nandi’s ‘Bhogi’ video is out

Sharwanand and director Sampath Nandi unite for the first time in “Bhogi,” a bold Pan-India cinematic venture. The film’s title was unveiled through an evocative concept video titled First Spark, setting the stage for what promises to be a gripping saga.

Narrated by Sampath Nandi, the video offers a glimpse into a world shaped by destiny, fire, and transformation. Sharwanand, deeply immersed in the narrative, envisions a realm born of conflict and courage. A symbolic sword exchange seals a pact — and Bhogi is born.

The title, rooted in tradition, symbolizes a ceremonial burning of the old, from which something fierce and new rises. It stands as a metaphor for rebellion, renewal, and reckoning.

Sharwanand’s Telangana slang

Sharwanand undergoes a striking transformation, embodying a character forged in both spirit and steel. Principal photography begins today on a massive set erected in Hyderabad — part of which is showcased in the video. The production team spent over six months developing the set, transforming nearly 20 acres into a stunning, immersive landscape.

Set in the raw, volatile terrain of the 1960s, “Bhogi” is poised to deliver a visceral cinematic experience packed with intensity, scale, and storytelling prowess.

With a period setting rooted in North Telangana–Maharashtra of the 1960s and a large-scale production canvas, the film promises high technical finesse. Kiran Kumar Manne serves as art director.

Anupama and Dimple as heroines

Produced by KK Radhamohan under the Sri Sathya Sai Arts banner and presented by Lakshmi Radhamohan, Bhogi features Anupama Parameswaran and Dimple Hayathi in lead roles — both cast in characters rich with depth and performance potential.

Slated for a multilingual release in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, and Hindi, “Bhogi” marks a milestone in the careers of both Sampath Nandi and Sharwanand — a film that blends tradition with revolution, grit with grandeur.
