After the massive success of Hanu Man, Teja Sajja returns with Mirai—a high-octane, mytho-fantasy action drama backed by People Media Factory and directed by Karthik Gattamneni. Produced by TG Vishwa Prasad and Krithi Prasad, the film promises a grand cinematic experience, blending mythology with futuristic storytelling.
The recently unveiled teaser offers a glimpse into a visually stunning world where chaos reigns and legends are reborn. Manoj Manchu plays The Black Sword, a formidable antihero wielding dark, supernatural powers. Standing against him is Mirai, a divine force embodied by Teja Sajja—a reluctant warrior on a journey of destiny and self-discovery.
With high-stakes action, including a standout train-top stunt, Teja Sajja steps up as a compelling new-age superhero. Manoj Manchu’s intense screen presence adds weight to the conflict. Supporting roles are played by Ritika Nayak, Shriya Saran, Jayaram, and Jagapathi Babu.
Director Karthik Gattamneni delivers both spectacle and substance, doubling as cinematographer and screenplay writer. The score by Gowra Hari amplifies the intensity, while Sri Nagendra Tangala (art direction) and Sujith Kumar Kolli (executive producer) round out the core crew. Dialogues are penned by Manibabu Karanam.
Despite its grand scale, Mirai is notable for being produced on a carefully controlled budget, demonstrating that vision and execution can rival high-budget blockbusters.
Set for a global release on September 5, Mirai will hit theatres in eight languages, in both 2D and 3D formats.
